Parakeet Class @FP we are looking at features of information texts. We first looked at a report about a Frost Dragon. We designed our own cool dragons.  We are beginning to draft a chronological report about our own dragons. We have some amazing ideas. A magical dragon, a lava dragon and a two headed demon dragon to name a few! Have a look at some of our work.

In science we are learning all about sound in science and have been looking at how sound travels through the air. This week we made our own string telephones and tested how they would work best. The children found that they worked better when the string wasn’t too long and was kept taut. We had a lot of fun sending each other messages and then we wrote up what we found out!

On Tuesday the Year 4 children had an amazing time at ‘The Lion King’. The children behaved beautifully and were in awe of the show. The costumes, singing and dancing was amazing. We had a fantastic time. Eduard told me “This is the most beautiful thing I have seen in my life!”
