🎨 Year 6 Inspiring Art Trip: 6LB@RF Visits the Sea Life Centre & Waterloo Street Art
As part of our Art learning this term, class 6LB@RF enjoyed an exciting trip to central London to visit the Sea Life Centre!
This term, Year 6 pupils are diving into the world of street art. Later in the term, each pupil will be planning and creating their own artwork focused on an environmental issue they feel passionate about—such as tackling plastics in the ocean, highlighting the vital importance of clean water, or promoting recycling.
Exploring Street Art in the Wild
On the way, the children had the chance to admire real street art up close, right outside Waterloo Station! They even spotted a famous mural featuring Paddington Bear—and the children in 6LB were thrilled to pose for photos next to it.
The trip provided incredible creative inspiration for the children’s upcoming art projects. We cannot wait to see the impactful, environmentally-themed street art pieces 6LB will produce in class!
