Year 5 Enjoyed an Inspiring Visit from Penguin Books

Our Year 5 pupils were delighted to welcome visitors from Penguin Books, one of Britain’s most historic and well-known publishing houses. Representatives from a variety of departments shared insights into the exciting world of publishing and brought along a wonderful selection of books for the children to explore.

The session was highly interactive, engaging, and hands-on. Pupils had the opportunity to browse a wide range of books, discuss their interests with classmates, and identify the stories and authors they would like to read in the future. There was a real buzz of excitement as children shared recommendations, asked thoughtful questions, and discovered new books together.

The visit inspired a love of reading and gave our pupils a fascinating glimpse into how books are created and shared with readers around the world. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Penguin Books team for providing such an enjoyable and memorable experience.
