Message from Executive Headteacher

Thank you for responding to the consultation regarding timings of the school day. An overwhelming majority of you chose to extend the school hours by finishing on a Friday at 3.30pm. This will take effect from the week beginning Monday 6th November. This will support the progress of the children educationally and at the same time alligns with parental response.

Message from Head of School

It has been another busy couple of weeks.  The children were entertained by an amazing Black History Month show, Carnival of Heroes.  We hosted a visit from Len Duval who is the elected representative for Lewisham and Greenwich on the GLA.  The School Council and Year 6 asked some really challenging questions about crime, funding and democracy. We managed to raise money for McMillan selling cakes ~ thank you for your donations and for buying.

Can I do a quick PE kit reminder.  All children should have one in school every day.  PE is a requirement and changing for it both hygienic and safe.  So far the vast majority of children have a kit  Please do double check that your child has.

I am looking forward to seeing many of you at the Mum and Dad’s events next week.
