We are Lewisham Mental Health Support Team (MHST) and we work within your school to support emotional wellbeing and mental health. Our focus is on early intervention, prevention and promotion which means supporting everyone to understand how to look after their mental health and wellbeing, as well as addressing difficulties as soon as they begin. Some of the things we help with are:
- Feeling sad or numb
- Anxiety or fears
- Friendship difficulties
- Managing emotions
- Dealing with change
- Not going to school

- Kids.Org.UkWe are a free, confidential and impartial service, which offers accurate information, advice and support to parents and carers of children and young people with SEND. We understand it can be difficult at times and our approach is to empower our parents and carers by providing them with information on their rights and guidance on the legal framework that all schools and local authorities adhere to. Our experienced team of local advisors also provide this independent advice directly to young people aged 16 up to 25 years with SEND.
