Spaces now available for the Holiday Activities and Food Programme (HAF)

With two weeks to go until the holidays, this is a great time to tell your school community about our Holiday Activities and Food Programme. From arts and crafts, to sports, roller skating and filmmaking, there are lots of fun things happening across the borough – and they’re all free for eligible children and young people.

Once again, the council has joined with community organisations to run activities for children aged 4 to 16 during the school holidays. Places are free for children aged 4 to 16 who receive benefit-related free school meals. There are also places available for children whose parents and carers are experiencing financial hardship, but who don’t already receive benefit related free school meals. Please note these spaces are limited.

Do advise parents and carers to be quick – they’ll need to book in advance and popular activities are filling up quickly.  The list of activities and booking info is available online at lewisham.gov.uk/holiday-activities.
