Saturday 3 October | 10.30 – 12.30
A weekend adventure for families and young people! Put on our waders, dip your toes in Deptford Creek and see what lives here.
Following our fun summer programme for younger explorers, we’re offering this new weekend activity to invite anyone aged 5+ into the river with us. We’ll explore parts of the river and everyone will get a chance to use nets for some river dipping, to see the animals that live underwater!
Deptford Creek is a risky environment – this activity is suitable for ages 5+ only. Children should be confident walking on uneven terrain unsupported, and children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. We would ask that there are no more than 2 children per adult for this activity.
For children aged 12+ our Creekside Low Tide Walks may be a more suitable activity, where they will explore further and learn more about the local area.
We hope the ticket cost is accessible to all. If you can afford to make an additional donation with your ticket purchase please do so. All funds go towards our education and conservation activities.
