Books in the Park has a great children’s and adult programme that we’d love to share with the school’s pupils, parents and carers. In addition to 45-minute sessions with three acclaimed children’s authors – Alex Falase-Koya, Natasha Farrant and Alexandra Sheppard –  we are holding an all-day book swap with ABC Book Club, a free drop-in at the sewing school in the Mansion to make bookmarks and other book-related things, and scavenger hunts and walks.

We want to encourage more children and adults from Downham to come to the park, so we are offering £1 tickets for children (normally £2.50) and £5 tickets for adults (normally £8.50).
